ANIMALS IN THE ATTIC is a slightly fragrant 9” cream pink self with a striking green throat. Sepals twist and “hook”. Three widely-spaced branches allow these enormous blooms to open perfectly looking like a “bouquet”. Scapes are tall and stately at 35” with 14 to 16 buds that begin blooming in the mid-late season. One of the most mesmerizing faces in the garden, BREAKING NEWS is an 8" lilac with a greyed-lavender watermark and an irregular diamond-dusted applique throat that splatters out onto the petals. Registered as a large flower, it will sometimes take on unusual form shapes and the irregularity of the applique will vary from day to day as the summer heats up. Scapes are 30" with 4-way branching averaging 17 buds. From a cross of EPICENTER x TATTERED HEART, it starts blooming early-midseason and often reblooms for an extended season of bloom. Fragrant, too, so it is a perfect front-of-the-border plant. Easily fertile both ways with semi-evergreen plant habit and lots of hybridizing potential for fancy faces. Tetraploid.
A personal favorite from its first bloom based on beauty, plant habit, and garden performance. CADE is is a 9 1/2" rich, saturated deep purple unusual form with a lighter purple watermark and a diamond-dusted cream and yellow throat. From a cross of two of my best, CURT'S GIFT X WEBSTER GIRLS, CADE inherited stellar plant habits with 34" scapes that have ideally spaced 5-way branching averaging 28 buds. And it reblooms for a long bloom season starting mid season, going well into the late season. Hardy, hard-dormant foliage is flawless for a picture-perfect display every day. For the hybridizer, CADE is easily fertile both ways and sets pods even when it is hot. Tetraploid.
Braving a relatively unexplored frontier, I fell in love with the color, coral, and crossed ZAZU PITTS with Nate Bremer's SHIPS AND GIGGLES to get a stellar plant that heads me in a new color direction! CORAL CONNECTION is a 9 1/2" cascade/spatulate with an ivory to tangerine throat, a very faint watermark, and diamond dusting all over the flowers. Blooms also have shiny bronze edges on hot days and are VERY fragrant....plant it where you can smell its delightful fragrance. Scapes are tall at 37" with 5-way branching averaging 22 buds and it is highly recurrent starting in the early-midseason and blooming well into the late season. Hardy, dormant plant habit. EASILY fertile both ways even when it is hot. So much potential for the hybridizer. Increases quickly with flawless foliage. Very limited....collection buyers take priority. Tetraploid.

Scapes are tall at 36" with 4-way branching that average 24 buds. Blooms in the mid-late season and reblooms to wrap up the late season. Impeccable, dormant foliage. From a cross of CHICAGO GIRLS x MAYOR OF HALLADAY, it has hardy, dormant plant habit. Fertile both ways. Tetraploid.
A more diminutive plant for the front of the border without sacrificing plant habit. PROFESSOR KNOWSALITTLE is a sibling to STEVE'S MAGIC (HIGH WATER MARK X DAVI'S GIFT) and offers lots of hybridizing potential. Lilac blooms are 7" and have an orchid diamond-dusted watermark and a gently pleated green throat. Lightly fragrant! Scapes are 29 to 30" with 4-way branching, 15 to 17 buds, plus instant rebloom scapes add another 9 buds for a long bloom season. Hardy, SEV plant habit. And easily fertile both ways even when it is hot. Limited...collection buyers take priority. Tetraploid.
TWITCH is a lightly fragrant 8 1/2" raspberry purple unusual form with a lighter raspberry watermark from a cross of BOYS NIGHT OUT X WEBSTER GIRLS. Scapes are 36" with 4-way branching, 21 buds, and it often reblooms. A vigorous increaser, it has hardy, dormant plant habit.
